NDNRT Receives a 2019 Trees Award

On October 19th, 2019, Terry Allbee, of the North Dakota Natural Resources Trust, accepted the 2019 "EXCELLENCE IN GOVERNMENT" Trees Award for the Clairmont Tract at the Trees Bowl and Awards Ceremony held in Fargo. The award is given out by the North Dakota Forest Service and North Dakota State University.

NDNRT, along with the American Foundation for Wildlife, Rocky Moutain Elk Foundation, and North Dakota Game & Fish, helped coordinate, advocate and purchase a 160 acre tract of forest in the Pembina Gorge. The property was gifted to the North Dakota Forest Service and is adjacent to the Tetrault Woods State Forest.
